About bulk QR code generation

Bulk generating QR codes is what you do when you need hundreds (or thousands) of QRs that share a design but each point to a different URL. Common cases: unique table QRs for a restaurant chain, per-asset QRs for inventory tracking, individual links for each customer in a campaign, ticket QRs for events.

Upload a CSV (or paste a comma-separated list of URLs), pick a design once, and you get a zip of PNGs back - one per URL. Without an account you can generate up to 100 static QRs at a time. With a Hovercode account, you can bulk-generate dynamic QRs (so you can change destinations later without reprinting) and process larger batches.

Frequently asked questions

What format does the CSV need to be in?
A simple list of URLs - one per row, or comma-separated on a single line. No header row needed. Each URL becomes its own QR code in the output zip.
Can I bulk-generate dynamic QR codes?
Yes - but it requires a Hovercode account. The free anonymous version generates static QRs only. Sign up free to bulk-generate dynamic QRs (which let you update destinations and see scan analytics).
What's the limit per upload?
100 static QRs per batch without an account. With an account, the limit is much higher - useful for thousands at a time.
Can I add my logo and brand colors?
Yes - design the QR in step 2 (logo, colors, frame, shape) and that design applies to every QR in the batch. The design step is the same as the regular Hovercode designer.
What format are the downloaded QRs?
PNGs in a zip file. Hovercode accounts also support SVG and PDF for print-ready output.
